Boyd Thermal by Eaton in Allenton, WI is seeking a Metal Hauler (Furnace & Material Handling Operator) to transport metal and materials to supply the foundry with molten metal. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork on the 1st shift (7am-3pm or 6am-2pm).

The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Base salaries are determined by skills and market conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to read, listen, analyze and interpret general business paperwork.
• Prior forklift experience required.

Responsabilités

• Transfer molten aluminum from breakdown furnace to holding furnace to maintain continuous production.
• Separate and segregate the different alloys to prevent mixing in furnace.
• Charge breakdown furnaces by safely adding ingot and scrap aluminum to breakdown furnace to provide adequate volume and temperature of molten metal.
• Move containers to and from die-cast machines as directed.
• Operate spectrometer.
• Clean and maintain all melting and holding furnaces.
• Assist in managing and directing all operations in the furnace department.
• Load and unload trucks as required.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to safety and manufacturing practices.
• Must support and follow the QMS requirements.
