Job summary

Boyd Thermal by Eaton in Wisconsin is seeking a Die-Cast Machine Operator to operate die-cast machines, perform quality checks, and collaborate with the team to meet production goals. The role requires attention to detail, safety, and the ability to work on the first shift (7am-3pm) or (6am-2pm) depending on assignment.

Responsibilities include setting, repairing, and replacing tooling, maintaining production rates, and ensuring clean, safe work areas in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of staff.
• Basic reasoning; reading, listening, and interpreting business paperwork.
• Ability to complete shop paperwork accurately.
• Regularly sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouch and use hands with tools and parts.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds; vision required.
• Sponsorship not offered; no relocation benefits; no future CPT/OPT sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor die-cast machines.
• Set, repair, and replace tooling.
• Maintain tooling and hourly production rates.
• Monitor condition of die-castings per work instructions.
• Relieve other machine operators for breaks.
• Run trim presses as needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Adhere to safety, QMS and manufacturing policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
