Unified Women's Healthcare is seeking a Molecular Technologist in Las Vegas, NV to handle pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing following SOPs and QA/QC procedures. The role includes documenting QC, maintaining instruments, and reporting results in LIS, with notes on safety and process improvements.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a lab science and MB certification preferred; responsibilities emphasize quality control, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
• Molecular Biology Certification is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs simple to complex assays utilizing established departmental protocols.
• Reads, understands, and adheres to all the SOPs, policies, and protocols.
• Performs all pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing processes accurately and timely, as well as independently.
• Reports results via the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Prepares clinical specimens for testing and identifies specimen related problems.
• Establishes and performs proper quality control measures in accordance with laboratory standards.
• Documents QC activities and corrective actions when test systems deviate from specifications.
• Monitors workflow and assists in preparation of validation documentation.

Formation

Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology
