Foundation Medicine, Inc. is seeking a Molecular Technologist II for the Boston, MA lab. You will perform complex patient sample testing, prepare reagents, and maintain equipment in a regulated laboratory environment.

You will execute NGS library prep, perform sequencing, and operate automated liquid handlers while adhering to GDP and SOPs. Training others and contributing to QA/QC are part of the role.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in a chemical/physical/biological or life sciences field.
• 2+ years molecular work experience in a CAP/CLIA regulated lab.
• Certifications or licensure as required by the posting jurisdiction.

Responsabilidades

• Perform patient sample testing per SOPs.
• Prepare and test samples; extract nucleic acids and prepare NGS libraries.
• Operate automated liquid handling platforms and sequencing instruments.
