Job summary

Eurofins USA Clinical Diagnostics in Louisville, KY is seeking a Molecular Medical Technologist to perform high-complexity testing and ensure accurate, timely results. The role requires a BS in Biology/Biochemistry, 1 year of lab experience, and CAP/CLIA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of science degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• ASCP, AMT, AAB, or equivalent certification ideal.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical laboratory experience, preferably in high complexity testing.
• Experience in molecular microbiology or genetics in a clinical lab setting preferred.
• Proficient use of micropipettes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests using nucleic acid isolation, PCR, qPCR, and NGS.
• Operate and maintain instruments (KingFisher, MiSeq, QuantStudio, Hamilton STAR).
• Maintain accurate record keeping and follow SOPs for specimen processing and reporting.
• Participate in QA/QC activities to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
• Assist in training and supervising laboratory staff as needed.
