Job summary

Eurofins USA Clinical Diagnostics is seeking a detail-oriented laboratory professional to perform tests, operate and maintain equipment, and ensure quality control and regulatory compliance. The role involves data collection, process improvements, and collaboration with physicians and QA teams.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a lab science, state licensure where required, and 4.5+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science.
• State license to perform clinical laboratory testing, if required by the state.
• Minimum 4.5 years of relevant clinical laboratory testing experience.
• Knowledge of chemistry, biology, and bacteriology.
• Ability to use medical laboratory equipment and perform data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests within prescribed laboratory procedures and calculate results.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain analyzers and equipment.
• Recognize and correct basic analyzer malfunctions; notify management when appropriate.
• Prepare reagents or media and evaluate materials.
• Conduct quality control procedures and implement corrective actions when indicated.
• Interface with physicians, QA, and executive directors.
• Collect and analyze data for publications, abstracts, and presentations.
• Lead validation activities for new tests, assays, and processes.
• Ensure safety and compliance with lab regulations.
