Job summary

Castle Biosciences Inc. is seeking a Molecular Technologist for our Scottsdale, AZ laboratory. You will perform RNA extraction and quantification, PCR, and quality control while ensuring data accuracy and instrument reliability.

Collaboration with teammates will drive efficient workflows and high-quality results. The role requires a BS degree in a relevant science field and 1–2 years in a molecular biology setting, plus military laboratory training or equivalent clinical lab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant science field; 1–2 years in molecular biology testing or equivalent laboratory environment.
• Completion of 50-week U.S. military medical laboratory training program or equivalent clinical laboratory training.

Responsibilities

• Perform RNA extraction, RNA quantification, PCR, and quality control of reagents.
• Maintain instruments and perform routine maintenance; data interpretation to ensure accurate results.
• Collaborate with team to optimize workflow and laboratory efficiency; uphold stringent QC standards.
