Job summary

Vitrolife Group is seeking a Laboratory Technologist for our Miami-based team. You will contribute to molecular testing workflows, perform high-complexity assays, and ensure accurate, compliant reporting in a fast-paced lab.

The role requires a strong molecular biology background, experience with PCR-related techniques, and flexibility to work overtime or nights as needed to meet operational demands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a lab science field or related and 6 months of supervised experience/training
• Experience with molecular techniques and quality control in a clinical lab is preferred

Responsibilities

• Process specimens and perform tests; review and report results
• Perform high-complexity tests under supervision
• Adhere to procedures for specimen handling and processing
• Follow safety and quality control protocols
• Identify issues affecting test performance and notify supervisors
• Document non-conformities and corrective actions
• Register samples and ensure proper documentation
• Work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and overnights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure workflow efficiency
• Maintain organization and accurate timely testing
• Perform additional duties as assigned
