Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Laboratory Manager to lead our molecular testing team, overseeing NGS, qPCR, and nucleic acid isolation. You will ensure QA/QC, write SOPs, and support CAP/CLIA compliance while training staff and advancing clinical reporting.

The role requires strong leadership, lab regulatory knowledge, and experience in a fast-paced multi-site environment. On-site at Corporate HQ with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in genetics or related field with clinical lab experience.
• Strong knowledge of molecular testing and QC processes.
• Experience with regulatory compliance in laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Manage laboratory staff and oversee molecular tests including NGS and qPCR.
• Ensure QA/QC, prepare SOPs, and maintain CAP/CLIA standards.
• Collaborate with leadership on test validation and reporting.
