  • Performs laboratory assays (clinical or research) with documentation as part of the section's analysts, following validated protocols.
  • Follows established safety and privacy protocols.
  • Performs bench work to assist management in validation, development, and troubleshooting of laboratory assays and kit procedures.
  • Assists in validation, troubleshooting, and management of instrumentation used in screening procedures.
  • Supports validation and monitoring of instrument relationships with the Laboratory Information Management System.
  • Contributes to the preparation and validation of reagents, materials and kits used in the laboratory.
  • Provides data for quality assurance, quality control, and competency records per CLIA requirements.
  • Performs other duties as required.
