Sonic Reference Laboratory, Inc is seeking a Molecular Technologist II to perform high complexity clinical testing in the Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory. The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to SOPs, and instrument maintenance.

Education requirements include a B.S. or M.S. in Medical Technology or related sciences, with relevant lab experience. Certification by ASCP preferred. This position is on the 2nd shift and part of the Laboratory Operations team.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. degree in Medical Technology or related science and 2 years of lab experience, or an M.S. with 1 year of lab experience.
• Preferred certification by ASCP or equivalent (Medical Technologist or CLS or Molecular Biology).
• Experience with PCR, DNA/RNA techniques, and data analysis.
• Ability to follow written SOPs and verbal instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Performs high complexity clinical assays according to SOPs.
• Maintains specimen integrity and follows QA/QC procedures.
• Operates and maintains analytical instruments and performs QC checks.
• Trains staff and participates in competency assessments.
