Wake Forest, NC-based Laboratory General Supervisor role delivers accurate, timely diagnostic results through high-complexity real-time PCR testing and other laboratory procedures that directly impact patient care,

Qualifications

• CLIA-compliant degree or certification required.
• At least 2 years lab experience, including molecular or PCR testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform CLIA high-complexity real-time PCR testing per protocols.
• Collect, prepare, process, and analyze specimens.
• Document results in electronic medical records.
• Conduct QC, calibration, and maintenance of equipment.
• Ensure CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control compliance.
• Supervise day-to-day test performance.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff.
• Manage lab inventory and supervise staff.
