Job summary

The UW Medicine DLMP invites applications for an Anatomic Pathology Technologist in the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The role covers accessioning, HPV testing, instrument maintenance, and reporting results.

You will work with Cytology and Digital Pathology teams, participate in CAP-guided proficiency testing, and support regulatory training. A bachelor’s degree with relevant coursework and certification is required, along with one year of clinical lab

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with coursework in chemistry/biology and microscopy, plus national certification.
• Certification in Technologist level within 2 years of hire by a recognized agency (ASCP/ASCLS/MSA).
• One year of clinical anatomic laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accession specimens for HPV testing.
• Perform HPV testing and calibrate instruments.
• Analyze results and report in EPIC.
• Verify QC metrics and troubleshoot issues.
• Cross-train and support cytology and digital pathology.
• Attend training and regulatory sessions as required.
