Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with coursework in chemistry and biological sciences.
  • Certification at the Technologist level required or to be obtained within two years.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality tissue slides for pathology interpretation.
  • Perform routine and complex procedures in histology and IHC lab.
  • Ensure quality control of specimens and verify specimen labeling.
  • Train new employees in laboratory procedures and equipment.
  • Monitor equipment and report malfunctions as needed.
