Three Rivers Diagnostics seeks a Molecular Diagnostic Analyst to join our on-site lab in Pittsburgh. This full-time role focuses on processing specimens, performing DNA/RNA extraction, and delivering accurate test results in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical or biological science or medical laboratory or equivalent education.
• Three years minimum clinical laboratory experience.
• ASCP certification is highly preferred.
• Experience with molecular testing and quality control practices.

Responsibilities

• Receives and process specimens according to department protocols.
• Prepare and perform DNA/RNA extraction and molecular diagnostics testing tasks.
• Produce, interpret, and report accurate test results.
• Maintain records for instrument maintenance, QC, and sample handling.
• Collaborate with team and communicate issues to supervisor or colleagues.
