Job summary

Revvity Omics is seeking a Clinical Lab Technologist I in Pittsburgh to perform clinical laboratory tests and analyses that contribute to diagnosis and treatment. You will prepare specimens, calibrate instruments, and maintain quality control in a CLIA/CAP-compliant environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a life science and 0-1 year of laboratory experience, with strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical or biological science, or clinical laboratory science, from an accredited institution.
• 0-1 year of clinical laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares specimens for analysis and organizes tests to be performed.
• Performs clinical testing according to standard operating procedures, related to specimen handling, processing, and test analyses.
• Accesses and handles protected health information (PHI) according to laboratory policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with federal regulations.
• Maintains legible work records.
• Enters findings into the laboratory information systems.
