Qualifications

The Opportunity

The Molecular Account Executive is part of the Molecular Diagnostic Division, which sells thefull stack selling of Molecular productsto healthcare facilities, including hospitals, IDNs, reference labs, and women's health offices.

The Molecular Account Executive is a strategic sales professionalthat’shighly skilled at driving exponential growth in their territory through closing new business and expanding existing business.

Territory
  • This is a US remote field-based role.
  • Candidates must reside in territory.
  • The ideal candidate would be based out of Minneapolis, MN.
  • The territory covers Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, U.P. of Michigan, and South & North Dakota.
  • Ability to travel 50% to 75% within the assigned territory and periodically throughout the United States to support business needs.
  • Valid driver's license required.
RequiredQualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of sales, account management, or related business experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a polished, professional presence and proven customer-facing experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage change, champion innovation, and drive new ideas through the organization.
  • Strong business planning, organizational, and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and building long‑term partnerships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or comparable Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Thorough documentation and administrative skills, including timely and accurate call/activity reporting.
PreferredQualifications
  • Sale experience in diagnostics or laboratory
  • 2+ years of experience in capital sales or similar
  • Proven success in strategic sales, including exceeding plans and turning around underperforming territories.
  • Experience in capital sales and/ormulti-stakeholder environments, developing and selling customized solutions to senior-level/C-suite executives.
  • Makes logical timely decisions based on analysis and experience
  • Persuades others to support a course of action, acts proactively to originate actions to improve existing conditions and process
  • Ability to learn technical and scientific knowledge and utilize in selling situations
