Job summary

Summit Polymers is seeking a Utility with molding experience to support the manufacturing floor in Michigan. The role involves operating and maintaining auxiliary equipment, loading materials, and keeping the work area organized and safe.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED and be capable of heavy lifting, with physical stamina for long shifts and the ability to pass required tests including color vision and cognitive assessments.

Qualifications

• Ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from limited options.
• Must pass color hue and color blindness test.
• Wonderlic Select Assessment: minimum score 50 (traditional 16 cognitive).

Responsibilities

• Set up, operates, fills, empties, and identifies pre-dried hoppers, grinders definers, metal separator, and similar equipment.
• Assures hoppers/dryers are refilled with proper material to prevent outages.
• Assists in operating presses including relief, set-up, color changes, and mold changes as needed.
