Job summary

Baxter is hiring a Production Technician II – Molding to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality operations in injection molding. You will set up molds, optimize performance, and lead changeovers while guiding operators and reporting downtime, scrap, and efficiency.

The role emphasizes LEAN, 6S, GMP, and rigorous safety/documentation standards. The team collaborates across Quality, Maintenance, and Mold Shop to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3-5 years injection molding experience preferred.
• Good mechanical proficiency and computer skills.
• Ability to formulate plans and solve problems.
• Ability to assess risks and make decisions.
• Knowledge and perform LOTO procedures.
• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• RJG Systematic 1 Molding Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform GDP documentation and follow GDP procedures.
• Operate machines and perform adjustments to meet quality and safety regulations.
• Set up molds to mold/machine requirements and torque bolts as specified.
• Process molding machines to optimum conditions within validated parameters and target cycle times.
• Lead mold changeovers and establish cycle sheets; report downtime and scrap.
• Support 6S tasks and LEAN initiatives; coordinate with Quality and Maintenance.
