Hours: 6am - 2:30pm

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for performing daily activities such as repairs, cleaning routines, servicing in the press, and tracking work orders in the ERP system implemented in the Tool Room.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Track the work orders
2. Track red zone
3. Accurately use hand tools
4. Provide support to the process team
5. Repair tools
6. Clean tools before sending them to the machine
7. Perform preventive maintenance routines and document them
8. Use tool shop equipment accurately
9. Maintain 5S standards in the tool room and tool shop
10. Store tools properly on racks
11. Perform other reasonable, related duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, plus at least 4 years of machine shop experience, preferably including CAD, or equivalent – OR – Apprenticeship Program or certification from a technical school, and 2 years of relevant experience.
