Job summary

IMS Gear | Gear Technology. Worldwide. is seeking a Set-Up Technician (Molding) to manage mold changes and machine setup for production. The role requires familiarity with Arburg, Krauss-Maffei, Yaskawa, and Kuka robotics and strong mechanical aptitude.

You will perform troubleshooting, document repairs, follow 5S, operate cranes, and ensure quality checks with micrometers and gauges. Good communication and teamwork with engineering and production are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Strong hands-on problem solving in a manufacturing setting.
• 1–3 years knowledge of running Injection Molding Machine Equipment preferred.
• Ability to read measurement tools and document results.

Responsibilities

• Ensures machines operate under normal conditions and makes adjustments or repairs as needed.
• Verify machinery meets specifications and tolerances after repairs.
• Follow troubleshooting procedures and work with engineering on complex topics.
• Take initiative to prioritize repairs/projects.
• Document repairs for traceability according to IMS Gear standards.
