Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Process Technician in Henderson, NV to boost molding machine output and reduce scrap. The role involves supervising start-ups, color changes, and process changes while ensuring safety and conformance with standards.

You will train technicians, track downtimes and quality metrics, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a mechanical aptitude, experience with injection molding, and strong communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2-4 year college or technical degree preferred.
• 2-4 year experience in a Manufacturing environment required.

Responsibilities

• Train Molding Technicians to improve technical capabilities and experience.
• Track downtime, quality performance and machine efficiency.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and develop corrective actions.
• Assist system design on machines to improve layouts and tooling.
• Order spare parts and necessary equipment.
• Follow ISO, Food Safety, and cGMP policies.
• Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance on malfunctions.
• Lead teams to address scrap, quality, safety and production issues.
• Review and implement process improvements using reports.
