Job summary

Amcor in Henderson, NV is hiring a Process Technician in the 01 - Molding department. You will monitor daily production, support machine start-up and color changes, and work with supervisors to maximize efficiency and reduce scrap.

The role requires practical hands-on skills, ability to train molding technicians, troubleshoot equipment, track downtime and quality, and follow ISO and cGMP policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• 2-4 year college or technical degree preferred.
• 2-4 year experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• Must have good mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Train Molding Technicians to improve technical capabilities and experience.
• Track downtime, quality performance and machine efficiency.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and develop corrective actions.
• System design on machines and equipment to improve layouts and ergonomic safety.
• Order spare parts and necessary equipment for machines.
• Follows applicable ISO, Food Safety, and cGMP policies.
• Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance on malfunctions.
• Organize and lead teams to address scrap, quality or safety issues.
