Job summary

Plastic Executive Recruiters is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to support injection molding operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes execution, troubleshooting, and ensuring consistent molding on the floor rather than desk work.

The candidate will develop, optimize, and maintain injection molding processes, contribute to validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ), and collaborate with tooling, quality, and production teams on process transfers and new product launches.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on injection molding processing experience.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and process optimization skills.
• BS in Engineering preferred, but experience will be considered in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Developing, optimizing, and maintaining robust injection molding processes.
• Scientific molding and process window development.
• Supporting validation activities including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
• Troubleshooting scrap, cosmetic issues, dimensional variation, and cycle time.

This role is focused on execution. Troubleshooting, process stability, and making molding processes run consistently on the floor, not sitting behind a desk.

Background that fits well
