Job summary

As we continue to grow, we are expanding our production footprint at our corporate headquarters and are seeking highly a experienced Process Engineering Manager to lead a team of Process Engineers while serving as a key technical expert supporting multiple manufacturing facilities. This high-impact leadership role will drive mold qualification, scientific molding practices, process development, new product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives across our global manufacturing network.

As the Process Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in bringing new products and manufacturing technologies to life while ensuring robust processes are successfully transitioned into production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Process Engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance leadership.
• Drive new mold qualification activities, including process development, validation, and production readiness.
• Establish and optimize process parameters using Scientific Molding methodologies and RJG principles.
• Lead Design of Experiments (DOE) activities to support process capability and mold qualification.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Program Management, Tooling, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to support successful product launches.
• Participate in new project reviews and allocate engineering resources to meet project objectives.
• Support mold design reviews and provide process engineering input early in development.
• Ensure completion and accuracy of process documentation, including MAP reviews and validation records.
• Evaluate project feasibility and technical risks before execution.
• Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Integrate lessons learned from previous programs into future mold and process designs.
• Lead knowledge transfer and training efforts to ensure smooth handoff from development to production teams.
• Support technical workforce development through organization of RJG training and other advanced process engineering programs.
• Standardize and harmonize process engineering documentation and best practices across facilities.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of injection molding experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Deep understanding of injection molding processes, tooling, validation, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading process development and qualification activities for new product launches.
• Strong project management and technical documentation skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• RJG training and Scientific Molding certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with medical device, healthcare, packaging, plastics, or related industries.
