Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced operations leader to own profitability, quality, and on-time delivery of molding and assembly operations. You will guide the site’s operations team, drive safe manufacturing, and develop production processes from tooling through final shipment.

The role requires 10+ years in management, 5+ years in injection molding in a high mix low volume environment, and a strong background in lean manufacturing and ISO standards. Location is Michigan, on-site.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of management experience.
• 5+ years of injection molding in high mix low volume environments.
• Background with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Familiar with ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety efforts and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Provide technical development and leadership for tooling, injection molding and assembly operations.
• Develop and implement annual operations plan with emphasis on structure, automation and high-volume manufacturing.
• Drive improvement of key metrics including gross margin and cost of waste.
• Coordinate with quality to ensure product quality and CAPA support.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and effective plant layout and planning.
• Lead innovation and adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies and perform layered process audits.
