Description

Job Summary: Operates compression and injection molding machines which mold thermoplastic and thermosetting plastics into products for world-class electronic connector use.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Operate and monitor transfer injection molding machines.
  2. Handle raw materials and manage machine products.
  3. Clean and maintain molding machines daily.
  4. Clean and de-flash fabricated molds.
  5. Monitor machines and products to ensure quality conformance.
  6. Rework or sort red tags as per departmental guidelines.
  7. Ensure product quality.
  8. Set up machines for production and change molds as needed.
  9. Load and unload machine hoppers.
  10. Perform machine startup and shutdown procedures.
  11. Read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, and operating instructions; use measuring tools daily.
  12. Maintain daily production records.
  13. Follow all safety and health policies and report hazards.
  14. Collaborate with EHS and Quality departments to meet regulatory and quality standards.
  15. Comply with company policies and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. 1 to 3 months of experience or training.
  3. Passage of testing for ABC certification program.
  4. Physical ability to handle materials and perform physical tasks as specified.
  5. Shift: Second shift (M-W 5:00pm - 5:30am).
