Job summary

OTTO Engineering, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Molding Machine Operator for the second shift in our molding department. The role provides exposure to all aspects of the injection molding process and supports material handling, setup, and quality inspection.

Hours are from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with opportunities to learn machine operation, setup, material handling, documentation, and basic SPC data collection in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Entry level position in molding department.
• Learn all aspects of the injection molding process.

Responsibilities

• Basic molding machine setup.
• Confirm proper material use per BOMs.
• Material drying and loading.
• Perform inspection of work produced to ensure quality.
• Machine maintenance as required.
• Keep equipment and work area clean.
• Count and progress work into stock.
• Regrind material as required.
• Perform SPC data collection.
• Observe department procedures.
• Run insert molded jobs as needed.
• Manage raw material to prevent contamination.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of raw material storage.
• Assist with other related duties as required or assigned.
