Molding Machine Operator – Full Time | Northern NJ

A well-established manufacturer supporting high-performance industries—including aerospace, defense, motorsport, marine, and automotive—is seeking a Molding Machine Operator to join their production team. This is a hands-on, full-time role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Operate molding equipment to manufacture composite parts to precise quality standards
  2. Maintain production schedules and work proactively to avoid delays
  3. Perform self-inspections and troubleshoot minor issues to ensure accuracy and consistency
  4. Support process improvements by optimizing mold cycles and grouping parts when possible
  5. Assist with prototype production and share input on design improvements
  6. Cross-train within the department to build versatility and increase efficiency
  7. Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures to reduce waste and energy use
What You Bring:
  1. Experience in a manufacturing environment (rotational molding experience is a plus, not required)
  2. Good time management, organization, and attention to detail
  3. Willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team setting

Schedule:
  1. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  2. On-site role based in Northern New Jersey

Salary: $50,000 - $54,000 per year

Shift: First

Work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture all products to required quality standards while following safety and departmental procedures.
  • Maintain and improve schedule adherence; strive to complete tasks ahead of schedule.
  • Support the Final Assembly Manager in general duties and look for ways to optimize moulding cycles and part grouping.
  • Receive on-the-job training to enhance skills across all manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct self-checks to ensure quality standards and prevent non-conformances.
  • Assist with prototyping, offering feedback on drawings or models to improve design.
  • Continuously develop technical skills to support team capabilities.
  • Follow sustainable practices per the company’s environmental policy.
  • Actively seek ways to reduce waste and energy consumption.
