Position Title: Operator 2, Machine Molding

Location: St. Albans, VT

The Operator 2, Machine position is responsible for operating molding equipment on the production machine to safely manufacture the required quantity and quality standards of finished product to meet the customer’s specifications.

Shift hours:

Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday 7:00 am - 7:15 pm; Wednesday 7:00 am - 1:15 pm

Key responsibilities include:

• Observe all safety, sanitation, GMP, and HACCP requirements
• Perform duties of Operator 1, Machine Molding
• Set up and troubleshoot equipment
• Perform quality checks on appearance and shape of product
• Enter shift information into SAP
• Communicate KPI metrics at shift change: Rate, Re-melt generation, Downtime
• Perform preventative maintenance and small repairs
• Cross-train into other Operator Level 2 positions within the department if needed
• Cross-train into secondary department positions if needed

About you:

• High school diploma or GED
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Math skills
• Minimum two years manufacturing experience preferred
• Class 3 Forklift and Handcart certification required
• Ability to stand on concrete for long periods
• Frequent bending, squatting, stretching, reaching
• Ability to climb stairs often
• Must lift a minimum of 50 lbs frequently
• Comfortable working at heights
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and temperatures
• Noise levels can exceed 85 decibels
