Job summary

Impact Workforce Solutions, on behalf of ConMet, is seeking a Molding & Finishing Production Technician for Canton, NC. You will assemble, inspect, label, and package precision parts, record production data, and keep your area organized to meet safety and quality standards.

You will use RF scanners and labeling devices, with a typical 2nd shift and overtime opportunities. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and prior manufacturing experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 12 months of relevant manufacturing experience or training.
• Comfort navigating basic computer systems and using a labeling scan gun/RF scanner.
• Mechanical assembly know-how and experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Inspection, labeling, and keen attention to quality.

• Capture production counts and scrap details accurately.
• Maintain output and quality targets.
• Keep your work area clean and organized.
• Alert a supervisor/lead to unresolved product or equipment issues.

Molding & Finishing Production TechnicianLocation: Canton, NCSchedule: Full-time | Weekly Pay | BenefitsCompensation: Pay $20.00 per hour + $2 per hour shift differential = $22.00 per hourTypical Shift: 2nd shift (8 hours) Monday–Friday, 2:30 pm–11:30 pm; currently working OT on 10-hour shifts: 4:30 pm–3:00 amA day in this roleAt 2:30 pm you join a close-knit team supporting ConMet’s Molding and Finishing Department. You review work instructions, check your RF scanner, and begin assembling, labeling, and packing precision parts. Throughout your shift, you keep your station organized, monitor quality, record production and scrap data, and flag any equipment or item concerns to your lead.
