Impact Workforce Solutions in Canton, NC is seeking a Compression Molding Press Technician for first or second shift. You will operate molding presses, inspect parts, assemble subcomponents, apply labels, and package to spec while logging production counts, quality checks, and scrap in the system.

You must maintain safety, environmental rules, and keep your area organized for a smooth shift handoff. Prior manufacturing experience and comfort with a handheld scan gun are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year in manufacturing, production, machine operation, or assembly.
• Comfort using a computer and handheld scan gun.
• Keen eye for detail and quality.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Compression Molding Press TechnicianLocation: Canton, NCEmployment Type: Full-Time | Weekly Pay + BenefitsA day in this roleYou clock in, review your work instructions, and confirm your press and labeling scan gun are ready. As parts cycle from the molding press, you carefully inspect each piece, assemble subcomponents, apply labels, and package to spec. You record production counts, quality checks, and scrap in the system, keeping pace without compromising standards. When something sounds off, you flag the issue and alert the lead, keeping safety, housekeeping, and environmental rules front and center.
