Job summary

BD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to monitor and maintain equipment in the manufacturing process at our Columbus, USA facility. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to GMP and FDA regulations, and timely reporting of issues.

Requires a high school diploma and at least two years of plastics injection molding experience, with basic reading, math, and computer skills. This is an on-site, full-time position with a strong focus on productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic mathematics including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains equipment used in manufacturing process.
• Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment as required.
• Reports malfunctioning equipment to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintains productivity in accordance with plant goals.
• Monitors work area for hazards and keeps it clear.
• Completes paperwork and adheres to GMP and FDA regulations.
• Wears protective clothing and follows safety protocols.
• Completes required training and other duties as assigned.
