Job summary

Atterro is hiring a Molder Machine Operator in Urbana, OH. The role features a 2-2-3 rotating schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, direct hire, and pay of $24.00–$28.00 per hour. You will operate, monitor, and maintain molds, troubleshoot alarms, and support start-ups and changeovers in a fast-paced production setting.

Requirements include manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, good math skills, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, install, monitor, and change production molds on manufacturing lines.
  • Verify molds have completed preventative maintenance before installation.
  • Inspect molds, inserts, clamps, hydraulic lines, air lines, and related components before installation.
  • Clean production platens and prepare equipment for mold changes.
  • Monitor production equipment and respond to machine alarms to troubleshoot issues.
  • Assist with production line startups and shutdowns.
  • Perform material and color changeovers while ensuring proper line clearances.
  • Verify materials are labeled, stored, and covered properly.
  • Repair minor hydraulic issues and oil leaks as needed.
  • Assist with automation repairs, IML changeovers, and basic equipment maintenance.
  • Support production staff with packaging and material handling when needed.
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the shift.
  • Follow all GMPs, SQF food safety requirements, and company safety policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
