Job summary

Moldtech seeks a Production Associate Level 1 to safely operate and manage machines in the parts production process. This is a 3rd shift role with a Sunday–Thursday schedule, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am.

You will work with hand tools, presses, and basic equipment, ensuring parts meet specifications, tracking production logs, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Training and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

  • Consistent Process Execution - Follows standard operating procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Basic Troubleshooting Ability - Recognizes mold or machine issues and knows when to escalate.
  • Intermediate Understanding of Materials - Recognizes different types of rubber and their basic curing properties.
  • Proficient with Tools and Equipment - Confident using hand tools, presses, and basic measurement devices (calipers, gauges).
  • Effective Communication - Can communicate issues to supervisors and collaborate with coworkers.
  • Training New Hires - May assist in orienting or mentoring new employees on basic tasks and procedures.
  • Responsive to Feedback - Accepts coaching constructively and applies it.

  • Inspects equipment before use to ensure correct setup and alignment; performs basic routine adjustments and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
