Job summary

Genera is seeking a Product Manager – Manufacturing & New Product Development to bridge product development, manufacturing operations, sales, quality, and customers. The role focuses on molded fiber packaging, defining customer needs, and driving the portfolio from concept to commercialization.

You will collaborate with NPD, Sales, and Operations to define testing protocols, establish use cases, and manage product documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in product management or related field within packaging/manufacturing.
• Experience with molded fiber or sustainable packaging strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate technical performance data.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with NPD, sales, ops, and quality.
• Customer-facing experience to support sales calls.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage product specifications, sheets, and documentation across the portfolio.
• Define pack-out configurations including bag, box, pallet, and truck loadout standards.
• Maintain accurate product records to support sales, operations, and quality.
• Bridge between NPD and Sales during customer trials with clear communication.
• Capture customer feedback and monitor market trends to guide the roadmap.
• Collaborate with operations on item creation and BOMs.
