Job summary

BD is seeking a manufacturing technician to monitor and maintain equipment used in plastics production. The role requires following GMP and FDA regulations, performing preventive maintenance, and reporting malfunctions to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, 2 years in plastics injection molding, and the ability to read safety and maintenance documents. On-site work with potential for growth and training is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ experience in plastics injection molding preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety, operating and maintenance documents.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Good reasoning abilities and on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains equipment used in manufacturing.
• Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Reports malfunctioning equipment to supervisor.
• Maintains productivity aligned with plant goals.
• Complies with GMP and FDA regulations; follows SOPs.
