Job summary

ALPLA Group is seeking a part-time Mold Shop Technician to oversee mold shop operations, including cleaning, inspection, maintenance, repairs, and inventory control of mold spare parts. This role emphasizes precision and safety to minimize downtime and meet production timelines.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent with at least three years of related experience, and preferred completion of Technical College or an equivalent Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair molds and related equipment.
• Clean, inspect, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Document maintenance activities and spare parts usage.
• Coordinate with Production Planners to align mold readiness with production goals.
• Liaise with external mold vendors and act as the main contact for technical department.
