Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. in Williamsport, PA is seeking a Tooling Engineer to support the facility, commercial team, and mold tooling vendors on new mold development and legacy improvements.

This onsite role requires collaboration across global teams to deliver reliable tooling solutions for molds, dies, and related equipment. You will set up, operate, and monitor CNC and manual milling to support construction, assembly, and repair, with a focus on LEAN improvements and manufacturing

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of job-related experience.
• Knowledge of the basic principles of injection molding, mold design, and machining basics.
• Advanced in using SolidWorks.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office.
• English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support existing tooling.
• Review new mold designs for tolerances and materials.
• Coordinate tooling orders for the facility.
• Collaborate with mold designers and tool shops to follow guidelines.
• Assist with LEAN initiatives and process improvements.
• Support mold sampling, trials and validation.
