Qualifications

• Pursuing Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Basic CAD knowledge; create/modify 3D models and drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design/detailing of molds and tooling using CAD.
• Create/update part/assembly drawings and BOMs.
• Support changes and revisions to tooling.
• Collaborate with toolmakers and machinists for practical designs.
• Participate in mold design reviews and manufacturability discussions.
• Assist with mold troubleshooting and dimensional issues.
• Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead/support cost-saving mold improvement projects.
• Assist with new mold development from concept to production.
