Job summary

Summit Polymers seeks Mold Technician candidates for multiple levels in Michigan. You’ll set up, run, start-up and shut down molding machines, perform quality checks, and follow Lean practices. Training progresses across three levels with defined timelines and safety-first culture. Sign-on bonuses available.

Qualifications

• Performs mold changes and machine start-ups safely.
• Troubleshoots basic machine and robot problems.
• Completes daily production paperwork and quality checks.
• Follows safety, PPE, and environmental procedures.
• Maintains housekeeping and product flow; supports operator tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing injection mold changes and machine start-ups in proper sequence and time standards.
• Troubleshooting basic machine and equipment problems.
• Troubleshooting basic robot problems.
• Demonstrating basic knowledge of mold construction and function and assisting in initial troubleshooting.
• Performing basic Robot End-Of-Arm-Tooling maintenance and repair.
• Completing machine process adjustments to meet specifications.
• Identifying safety concerns and taking action.
• Communicating production concerns with peers across shifts.
• Assisting supervisor with shift activities and training.
