Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Mold Machine Operator at our Oklahoma City facility. You will set up and run mold machines, switch materials and colors to meet production schedules, and monitor quality from startup through production cycles.

You will also coordinate with QA and Maintenance, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure a safe, clean, and organized production area with proper packaging and Line Clearance procedures.

Qualifications

• High school education / GED equivalent.
• Prior plastic injection molding experience is highly preferred.
• Technical understanding of processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines for operation and adjust material and color to meet production schedules.
• Startup machines on schedule and monitor quality at startup.
• Perform mold repairs and preventative maintenance as required.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Maintenance on malfunctions.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Complete Line Clearance documentation after each job.
• Oversee proper packaging procedures and keep floor stocked with materials.
• Ensure housekeeping standards and assist with material handling.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions.
