Job summary

Amcor in Oklahoma City is seeking a production associate responsible for inspecting containers and lids, ensuring quality per Amcor standards, and packing finished products. You will work within the molding department, assembling parts, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires agility, attention to detail, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks, with a schedule that may include weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be able to keep up with fast-paced production cycles.
• Able to tolerate constant repetition.
• Identify alpha / numeric product codes.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to ensure quality. Set aside products that are below quality standards.
• Watch molds for irregularities or sticking. Timely response to quality issues is key.
• Complete assembly of products by installing gaskets in lids and handles in containers as required while keeping up with the production machines cycles.
• Flame containers and lids when required.
• Stack and pack product per instructions that vary with different customers and orders.
