Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Mold Setter to change molds, connect/disconnect for changes, and prep machine plates in a manufacturing environment. The role requires following mold books and safety procedures while keeping work areas clean and organized.

The candidate will also inspect electrical, water, and pneumatic systems as needed, operate lifting devices and cranes, and document activities in the shopfloor system. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mold setting experience preferred.
• Must follow safety, quality and production procedures.

Responsibilities

• Change molds as scheduled or when breakdowns occur.
• Make connections/disconnections needed for mold changes.
• Prep machine plates for mold set activity.
• Follow all setup instructions documented in the mold book.
• Keep mold carts, hose areas, and mold setting areas clean, stocked and organized.
• Repair or inspect electrical, water and pneumatic circuits as needed.
• Operate lifting devices and overhead crane for installation/removal of mold tools.
• Document all mold change activity in the shopfloor reporting system.
• Document mold locations per activity in the mold book.
• Follow Safety and Production procedures (cGMP, HACCP, ISO, SQF, OSHA).
• Other duties as assigned.
