Job summary

Torrey Holistics seeks a skilled technician to manage mould changes on injection and blow molding lines. You will plan changes, ensure safety practices, and perform setup and fine-tuning after validation of first-piece inspection.

You will monitor efficiencies, downtime and rejects, proposing data-driven improvements and maintaining setup records for continuous production optimization.

Qualifications

• Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience with injection molding processes and equipment.
• Experience with blow molding processes.
• Proficient in tool/die/mold setup and changeovers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute mould changes with safety procedures.
• Carry out mould and automation changes; first piece inspection must pass before full setup.
• Continuously reduce changeover times and optimize machine performance.
• Create, update and file setup sheets; review efficiency, downtime and rejects.

**1. Scope of the position **To carry out activities of mould set ups to ensure efficient production unit.2. Key ResponsibilityEffectively plan for mould changes ensuring all safety procedures are followed and mould change can be completed efficiently and effectivelyCarry out mould and automation changes: set up complete only when first piece inspection is passed.Continuously strive to reduce changeover timesFine tune machines after set ups and carry out repairs where appropriateCreating, updating and filing set up sheets.Continuously review machine efficiencies, downtime, reject levels and make efficiency improving recommendations.3. Key Performance IndicatorsReduction in changeover times for moulds and automation.Number of efficiency-improving recommendations implemented per quarter.**4.
