Job summary

Fehrer-Automotive is seeking a Set Up Mold Operator to prepare molds for production changes and support the manufacturing floor. The role includes setting up molds, cleaning and waxing molds, and assisting with mold storage and transport.

Responsibilities include reporting mold issues, tracking cleanings, and performing additional duties to keep the line running smoothly. Strong attention to detail and basic math are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be forklift certified and able to operate safely.
• Strong reading and basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Set up molds for mold changes and prepare for production runs.
• Clean and prep molds for production and storage/ship back to warehouse.
• Identify and report any mold damage or issues to supervisor.
• Track mold cleanings on log sheets and maintain records.
• Assist on the production floor as needed to support manufacturing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by maintenance/production leads.
