Job summary

Pretium Packaging in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Operator to support our molding and packaging lines. You will perform mold setups/changeovers, prep work, preventive maintenance, and quality checks to ensure containers meet specifications.

The role requires following instructions, using hand and power tools, PPE, and contributing to a safe, clean manufacturing area. Training sessions will keep your technical knowledge up to date, and you will communicate effectively with internal and external

Must be able to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Follow written instructions and use hand and power tools.
Wear and use appropriate PPE and maintain a safe work environment.
Must have tools to perform all functions of the job/position.

Responsibilities

Perform mold setups and changeovers as it relates to the production schedule.
Perform prep work to prepare for mold changeovers and correct process related problems as directed by supervisor.
Perform preventative maintenance on tools in production and clean, inspect, lubricate equipment.
Respond to trouble-shooting calls and mold performance issues; evaluate operation with other personnel.
Operate lines as needed and maintain good housekeeping in the manufacturing area.
Attend training sessions to improve technical knowledge and performance.
Perform quality checks on containers to ensure proper specifications and document adjustments.
Follow Plant specified job specification and task list.
