Job summary

Ultipro in Cleveland, OH is seeking an on-site Operator to support production through mold setups, changeovers, and routine line operations.

You will perform prep work, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain cleanliness and safety in the manufacturing area.

Candidates should be able to read instructions, use hand/power tools, wear PPE, and collaborate with team to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with mold setups and changeovers per production schedule.
• Able to follow written instructions and discuss issues with supervision.
• Willingness to perform preventive maintenance on production tools.
• Capable of documenting problems and adjustments to machinery.
• Understand safety and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold setups and changeovers per production schedule.
• Prepare prep work for mold changes and resolve process issues as directed by supervisor.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools currently in production such as cleaning and greasing of molds; inspect and lubricate equipment.
• Respond to trouble-shooting calls and mold performance issues to identify causes and perform or assist repairs.
• Operate lines as needed and maintain cleanliness in the manufacturing area.
• Attend training sessions to maintain and improve technical knowledge.
• Follow written instructions, use hand and power tools, wear PPE, and ensure safe working environment.
• Perform quality checks on containers and document issues or adjustments to machinery.
• Follow plant specifications and task lists.

Description

• Perform mold setups and changeovers as it relates to the production schedule.
• Perform Prep work to prepare for mold changeovers and correct process related problems as directed by supervisor.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all tools currently in production such as cleaning and greasing of molds, etc. clean, inspect and lubricate equipment and machinery.
• Respond to trouble-shooting calls and mold performance issues to seek cause and perform or assist with repair. Evaluate and discuss the operation of assigned machinery with other affected personnel.
• Responsible to watch and Operate lines as needed
• Maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas and assist in the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the manufacturing area.
• Attend training sessions to maintain and/or improve technical knowledge and performance
• Must be able to: effectively communicate with internal and external customers, follow written instructions, use a variety of hand and power tools, wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), operate material handling equipment and maintain safest possible working environment for self and all facility associates.
• Perform quality checks on containers to ensure proper specifications are maintained. Document any problems or adjustments made to assigned machinery.
• Follow Plant specified job specification and task list.
