Pretium Packaging is seeking a production operator in Cleveland, OH. You will set up and run plastic molding machines, verify materials, calibrate for optimal runs, and log results. The role requires reading technical drawings, mechanical aptitude, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

We offer full-time direct hire, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, competitive wages, and benefits. Training and safety are emphasized as you support production needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Prior experience operating plastic molding machines preferred.
• Working knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes and related equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude; technical training with packaging, plastics, and printing equipment a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate plastic molding equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor machine performance, make in-process adjustments, and maintain optimal run conditions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs to sustain uptime.
• Inspect finished parts for quality; make corrections as needed to hold standards.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during production to minimize downtime.
• Track raw material usage, maintain inventory, and notify your supervisor when supplies need replenishment.
• Keep a safe, clean, and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.
