Job summary

Mayzon is seeking a Setup & Process Technician to manage mold setups and optimize injection molding processes. You will troubleshoot, improve process stability, and support production operations to meet safety and quality targets.

The role involves hands-on work, setting up equipment, validating utilities, and leading changesovers while aiming to reduce setup times and improve efficiency. Strong awareness of safety and documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of injection molding setup and processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of plastics materials and molding parameters.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience troubleshooting molding defects and machine issues.
• Ability to use hand tools, measurement tools, and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and efficient mold installations, removals, and startups.
• Set up and validate dryers, blenders, robots, hot runners, and temperature controllers.
• Execute changeovers in accordance with SMED and lean manufacturing principles.
• Develop and update standard process sheets and setup documentation.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for molding defects and process issues.
• Provide on-floor technical support to operators and production staff.
